What is mental block?

A mental block is an informal term used to mean either repression of painful thoughts, or an inability to continue a train of thought, like in the case of writer's block.

It is often used to describe a temporary inability to recall a name or other information.

According to Dr. Linda Varona of Health and Home Blank memories can come from lack of concentration , pre occupied mind or from the presence of emotional problems.

You can improved your memory by;

1. Exercising your minds - read anything that catches your interest start with the simpler ones or elementary books or storytelling books if you like. Newspapers and magazines can help you out as well but story book is mind stimulating.

2. Improved your memory by memorizing songs, songs, poems, verses from the Bible and even school work.

3. Develop a regular study habit.

4. Seek your guidance counselors advice as well if your under pressure or you got problems in your family.
